Delivery

How Will My Order be Delivered?

We will deliver your order using the fastest, safest, and most reliable method possible. Our delivery methods are listed on the product page as well as throughout the checkout process.

Riverhill Garden Supplies will select the appropriate dispatch method when you order based on your location and the product(s) that you have ordered.

Dispatch Methods

Parcel Delivery

Smaller products are delivered by parcel couriers, such as TNT and Parcelforce. Upon dispatch, we will notify you via email with the estimated day of delivery and forward you a tracking number.

Pallet Delivery

Products too big for parcel delivery are delivered by our dedicated delivery drivers or 3rd party carriers like Palletways, Dascher or ILS. Palletways, Dascher or ILS are instructed to contact you to book delivery and will note any special instructions.
Pallet delivery is curbside; however, for all dedicated deliveries and, on most occasions 3rd, party deliveries, the driver(s) will act upon your instructions within reason and are generally very helpful. That said, on rare occasions, some 3rd party delivery drivers will only offer curbside delivery, and failure to accept curbside delivery means your order will be returned to us, refunded ex-delivery and return costs.

Special Instructions

If you have any special instructions regarding delivery, please email mail@riverhillgardensupplies.com or telephone the office on T 01732 522471. You are welcome to leave comments in the delivery box regarding delivery; however, leaving comments like take through the house and down the stairs to the back of the garden is not acceptable - whilst we are happy to arrange requests like this and go beyond the call of duty, especially if you are elderly or disabled, these requests need to be arranged by email or telephone before you place your order.

The office is open 7 days a week, from 8am to 10pm including Bank Holidays except Christmas Day.

Shipping Costs

We charge a flat rate of £20.00 for delivery to England, Wales and Central Scotland. We charge a flat rate of £50.00 for delivery to England, Wales and Central Scotland if your order includes any ADEZZ, FORNO or FURNS product.

We are not able to offer a flat rate of £20.00 for delivery to East Central Scotland, North and North East Scotland, West Scotland, Norther Ireland, ROI, Skye, Orkney Isles, Outer Hebrides, Shetland Isles, Inner Hebrides, Isle of White, Isle of Man and the Channel Isles and a surcharge will apply. You will get charged our standard delivery fee online, and a member of customer services will contact you to make up the difference (please see the costs below).
