Pelham is one of the earliest known Laura Ashley designs, taken from a silk scarf hand-printed by Laura and Bernard Ashley in the 1950s. Named after the brand's first London store on Pelham Street, the design has a timeless, handcrafted feel.

The steel rim of the pot is bold and complements the white body that features the iconic Pelham pattern. Keep the planting scheme simple using your favourite annuals and perennials or plant up with a small shrub, hydrangeas work well with the traditional design.

Planting Advice

• Place adequate drainage material such as gravel, broken pieces of terracotta pot or polystyrene into the bottom third of the pot
• Use a quality garden container compost like John Innes that is appropriate to the needs of the plant. If you are unsure, ask your local Garden Centre
• Remove the plant from the original packaging, taking care not to damage the roots. Position the plant centrally and fill the jar with compost. Firm the plant in place
• Avoid setting the plant too deeply. Make sure that you leave a gap below the rim of the jar to assist in watering the plant
• Water the plant well

Pallet Delivery

Larger products will be delivered by our own dedicated delivery drivers or by specialist carriers such as Palletways and ILS who will be given your contact details and instructed to book in delivery with you once your order reaches your local delivery depot.

Shipping Costs

We charge a flat rate of £20.00 for delivery to England, Wales and Central Scotland. We charge a flat rate of £50.00 for delivery to England, Wales and Central Scotland if your order includes any ADEZZ, FORNO or FURNS product.

We are not able to offer a flat rate of £20.00 for delivery to East Central Scotland, North and North East Scotland, West Scotland, Norther Ireland, ROI, Skye, Orkney Isles, Outer Hebrides, Shetland Isles, Inner Hebrides, Isle of White, Isle of Man and the Channel Isles and a surcharge will apply. What if My Order Arrives Damaged?

Our goal is to make buying online with Riverhill Garden Supplies easy, safe and efficient. Although extremely rare items can arrive damaged and we are conscious of this so it is very important for that you read the following.

Upon delivery, please carry out the following steps

• Remove the goods completely from their packaging
• Closely inspect the goods for damages or shortfalls
• Sign for the goods, accordingly, noting damages/shortfalls and refuse the goods
• Notify Riverhill Garden Supplies of any damages/shortfalls within 24 hours by telephoning the office on t 01732 522471. The office is open 7 days a week, from 8am to 10pm including Bank Holidays except Christmas Day. Providing that you have signed for the goods as damaged and refused the goods we will repeat and dispatch your order again or arrange a full refund

The courier is obliged to wait 15 minutes for you to carry out these checks if need be. No claim will be accepted if a clean signature is given. Any claim for damages/shortfall must be made within 24 hours.
