Use this planter outdoors year-round, ensuring the removable drainage plug is set correctly for indoor or outdoor use. For outdoor use, allow excess water to drain freely and avoid leaving the planter standing in water for prolonged periods, primarily through winter.

Although frost- and UV-resistant, we recommend positioning the planter on a level surface and ensuring drainage remains clear to prevent waterlogging. The lightweight yet durable structure makes it easy to move when required, and the integrated wheels allow you to quickly reposition the planting to suit changing conditions or seasonal displays.

To keep the planter looking its best, wipe the surface clean using a damp cloth. The smooth anthracite finish is easy to maintain and will retain its crisp, modern appearance with minimal effort.

The Deroma Millennium Anthracite Cubed Planter is ideal for structured planting schemes that demand strong shape, clean lines and a modern architectural finish. The square format works particularly well placed either side of entrances, in symmetrical patio layouts, or grouped in sets to create a contemporary courtyard feel.

For a sharp, year-round look, plant evergreen structures such as Ilex crenata (a great box alternative), Euonymus, compact Pittosporum or Hebe. These shrubs hold their shape well and suit the anthracite finish perfectly, creating a crisp contrast against paving and stonework.

If you want a more striking feature, use the cube for a small specimen tree such as olive, bay, Amelanchier or Japanese maple. The deep 80L capacity gives enough root space for long-term planting, making it an excellent statement planter for patios and terraces.

For softer planting schemes, ornamental grasses work brilliantly. Try Calamagrostis, Stipa tenuissima, Festuca glauca or compact Miscanthus varieties for movement and texture, then underplant with long-flowering perennials such as Salvia, Nepeta, Echinacea or Geranium for seasonal colour.

For indigenous UK planting options, consider compact native-style shrubs such as dogwood (Cornus), dwarf hazel, or viburnum, and underplant with pollinator-friendly favourites such as hardy geraniums, sedges, primroses and wild thyme. It creates a more natural, wildlife-friendly display while maintaining a bright, contemporary look.

The cubed shape also suits minimal planting styles perfectly. A single structural plant, such as a clipped ball shrub, small conifer, or architectural grass, can create a clean, designer look with very little maintenance.

Parcel Delivery

Smaller products are delivered by parcel couriers, such as TNT and Parcelforce. Upon dispatch, we will notify you via email with the estimated day of delivery and forward you a tracking number.

Pallet Delivery

Larger products will be delivered by our own dedicated delivery drivers or by specialist carriers such as Palletways and ILS who will be given your contact details and instructed to book in delivery with you once your order reaches your local delivery depot.

Shipping Costs

We charge a flat rate of £20.00 for delivery to England, Wales and Central Scotland. We charge a flat rate of £50.00 for delivery to England, Wales and Central Scotland if your order includes any ADEZZ, FORNO or FURNS product.

We are not able to offer a flat rate of £20.00 for delivery to East Central Scotland, North and North East Scotland, West Scotland, Norther Ireland, ROI, Skye, Orkney Isles, Outer Hebrides, Shetland Isles, Inner Hebrides, Isle of White, Isle of Man and the Channel Isles and a surcharge will apply. Please note that you are responsible for arranging the return of your order and for the costs of returning your order to us unless we have delivered the item to you in error. All return items must have original tags and packaging; and not been used or modified.

What if My Order Arrives Damaged?

Our goal is to make buying online with Riverhill Garden Supplies easy, safe and efficient. Although extremely rare items can arrive damaged and we are conscious of this so it is very important for that you read the following.

Upon delivery, please carry out the following steps

• Remove the goods completely from their packaging
• Closely inspect the goods for damages or shortfalls
• Sign for the goods, accordingly, noting damages/shortfalls and refuse the goods
• Notify Riverhill Garden Supplies of any damages/shortfalls within 24 hours by telephoning the office on t 01732 522471. The office is open 7 days a week, from 8am to 10pm including Bank Holidays except Christmas Day. Providing that you have signed for the goods as damaged and refused the goods we will repeat and dispatch your order again or arrange a full refund

The courier is obliged to wait 15 minutes for you to carry out these checks if need be. No claim will be accepted if a clean signature is given. Any claim for damages/shortfall must be made within 24 hours.
