During busy periods, stock can sell through quickly. If we are temporarily out of stock, we can replenish from our supplier’s UK stock within approximately 10–12 working days.

The Black Fibrestone Cube Planter is ideal for creating strong, structured planting displays in modern gardens, patios and commercial outdoor spaces. The clean cube shape works particularly well in symmetrical layouts, positioned either side of entrances, gates, steps or pathways to give a high-end architectural look.

Use the 50cm cube for compact evergreen shrubs such as Hebe, Euonymus, Pittosporum or Ilex crenata (a great alternative to box). These plants hold their shape well and provide year-round structure, mainly when used in pairs or in repeated runs.

For a more dramatic statement, plant the larger 60cm cube with a small specimen tree, such as an olive, bay, Amelanchier, or a Japanese maple. The deeper format provides excellent root space, making it ideal for feature planting that adds height and impact to terraces and courtyard gardens.

Ornamental grasses also work beautifully in fibrestone planters, adding movement and texture without looking untidy. Try Stipa tenuissima, Calamagrostis ‘Karl Foerster’, Festuca glauca or compact Miscanthus varieties, then soften the surface with underplanting such as Heuchera, Sedum or trailing ivy.

For UK-native planting options, use compact dogwood (Cornus), native viburnum or dwarf hawthorn, then underplant with wildlife-friendly favourites such as hardy geraniums, primroses, sedges or wild thyme. This creates a more natural planting scheme while keeping the overall look crisp and contemporary.

If you prefer a minimalist designer finish, keep it simple with a single architectural plant, such as a clipped ball shrub, a dwarf conifer, or a statement grass. The textured black finish and cube shape make even simple planting look premium and professionally styled.

Dispatch Methods

Parcel Delivery

Smaller products are delivered by parcel couriers, such as TNT and Parcelforce. Upon dispatch, we will notify you via email with the estimated day of delivery and forward you a tracking number.

Pallet Delivery

Larger products will be delivered by our own dedicated delivery drivers or by specialist carriers such as Palletways and ILS who will be given your contact details and instructed to book in delivery with you once your order reaches your local delivery depot.

Shipping Costs

We charge a flat rate of £20.00 for delivery to England, Wales and Central Scotland. We charge a flat rate of £50.00 for delivery to England, Wales and Central Scotland if your order includes any ADEZZ, FORNO or FURNS product.

We are not able to offer a flat rate of £20.00 for delivery to East Central Scotland, North and North East Scotland, West Scotland, Norther Ireland, ROI, Skye, Orkney Isles, Outer Hebrides, Shetland Isles, Inner Hebrides, Isle of White, Isle of Man and the Channel Isles and a surcharge will apply. Please note that you are responsible for arranging the return of your order and for the costs of returning your order to us unless we have delivered the item to you in error. All return items must have original tags and packaging; and not been used or modified.

What if My Order Arrives Damaged?

Our goal is to make buying online with Riverhill Garden Supplies easy, safe and efficient. Although extremely rare items can arrive damaged and we are conscious of this so it is very important for that you read the following.

Upon delivery, please carry out the following steps

• Remove the goods completely from their packaging
• Closely inspect the goods for damages or shortfalls
• Sign for the goods, accordingly, noting damages/shortfalls and refuse the goods
• Notify Riverhill Garden Supplies of any damages/shortfalls within 24 hours by telephoning the office on t 01732 522471. The office is open 7 days a week, from 8am to 10pm including Bank Holidays except Christmas Day. Providing that you have signed for the goods as damaged and refused the goods we will repeat and dispatch your order again or arrange a full refund

The courier is obliged to wait 15 minutes for you to carry out these checks if need be. No claim will be accepted if a clean signature is given. Any claim for damages/shortfall must be made within 24 hours.
