Easily assembled by you, the CONNECT planter adds a personal touch to your outdoor space while delivering the bold, architectural finish ADEZZ is known for. Supplied flat-packed, each planter includes everything required for a smooth, straightforward build, resulting in a strong, rigid structure once assembled.

Now available in 11 sizes, including newly introduced 20cm-high options, the CONNECT CARREZ Low Square Planter is suitable for everything from compact gardens to large-scale landscaping projects. Available sizes include 120 x 120 cm in heights of 80 cm, 60 cm, 40 cm and the new 20 cm option, 100 x 100 cm in heights of 80 cm, 60 cm, 40 cm and the new 20 cm option, and 80 x 80 cm in heights of 60 cm, 40 cm and the new 20 cm option. These generous proportions make the planter ideal for contemporary garden designs, commercial spaces and statement planting schemes.

Manufactured from 2 mm-thick corten steel, the planter is delivered flat-packed, ready for self-assembly. As standard, the planter is supplied without a base, making it particularly suitable for placement around an established tree or existing planting. An optional base is available for every size if a fully enclosed planter is required.

Corten steel, also known as weathering steel, is a durable metal alloy made by adding copper, silicon, nickel and chromium to iron. When exposed to the elements, the surface develops a distinctive orange-brown patina. This natural layer of rust acts as a protective barrier, preventing further corrosion and significantly extending the planter's lifespan. Over time, weather conditions enhance both the appearance and character of the steel, making each planter unique.

Bottomless Version (Standard)

The standard ADEZZ Corten Steel CONNECT CARREZ Planter comes without a base, allowing water to drain freely into the ground. Ensure good natural drainage, as water should never remain inside a bottomless Corten steel planter. Fill the planter with suitable soil without compacting it, and avoid hydro pellets because they retain excess moisture. Unpack the planter immediately on delivery to prevent moisture marks from forming inside the packaging. Over the first few months, the planter develops a warm, protective rust patina, and some surface runoff is normal. You may apply a stabilising product, such as Owatrol, to fix the finish once the patina has fully formed.

With Bottom Plate Installed

When you add the optional Bottom Plate, the planter functions as a traditional enclosed container and needs controlled drainage. Begin with a drainage layer such as pebbles, add a permeable root membrane, and keep all drainage holes clear so excess water can escape. Add soil loosely and avoid tamping it down. As with all Corten steel products, unpack the planter immediately, and allow the natural patina to develop over time. You may use maintenance products such as rust accelerators, cleaners, or protectants if you wish to speed up or stabilise the finish.

Stock and Lead Times

We hold a limited stock of ADEZZ CONNECT Planters at our Kent warehouse, and in most cases, we order directly from ADEZZ in Holland. ADEZZ usually carries a good stock of all CONNECT sizes, including the optional Bottom Plate, so we list these items as “in stock” on our website with a typical lead time of around 10 days to 2 weeks.

Almost all CONNECT planter orders placed with Riverhill Garden Supplies ship from ADEZZ’s central warehouse in Uden, Holland, which is why lead times are similar across all UK resellers. We place orders with ADEZZ every day, submitting your order immediately so we can secure available stock straight away or begin fabrication for made-to-order items without delay. Our long-standing relationship with ADEZZ helps your order move quickly and efficiently through their system.

If ADEZZ has the planter in stock, delivery takes 10 days to 2 weeks. If fabrication is required, production typically takes 2–4 weeks, followed by a further 10 days for delivery.

While we show CONNECT Planters as “in stock” on the website because ADEZZ updates their inventory frequently, availability can change quickly—especially in peak season. If your timing is critical, please telephone us, and we will check live stock levels in both our Kent warehouse and the ADEZZ warehouse in Uden to give you the most accurate lead time.

Storage and Delivery Flexibility

We understand that customers often work to project schedules and may need flexibility. One advantage of ordering from Riverhill Garden Supplies is that we can hold stock at our warehouse near Tonbridge, Kent, until you are ready to take delivery. We can order well in advance of your project and store the planters at no additional cost, giving you complete control over when your items arrive while allowing us to manage delivery from within the UK.

Customers are also welcome to collect their orders directly from our storage facility near Tonbridge, where we can load vehicles at short notice using one of our forklift trucks.

The ADEZZ Corten Steel CONNECT CARREZ Low Square Planter is particularly effective for architectural and contemporary planting schemes where width and proportion are just as important as height. Low evergreen structures work very well in these planters, with plants such as Ilex crenata, Euonymus japonicus varieties, Osmanthus, or shaped yew providing year-round form without overwhelming the space. These choices give definition and structure while allowing the warm corten steel to remain a strong visual feature.

Ornamental grasses are an excellent choice for the low square format, softening the planter's clean lines and complementing the rich rust tones of the weathering steel. Stipa tenuissima brings light movement, while Hakonechloa macra works beautifully in part-shade. Pallet Delivery

Larger products will be delivered by our own dedicated delivery drivers or by specialist carriers such as Palletways and ILS who will be given your contact details and instructed to book in delivery with you once your order reaches your local delivery depot.

What if My Order Arrives Damaged?

Our goal is to make buying online with Riverhill Garden Supplies easy, safe and efficient. Although extremely rare items can arrive damaged and we are conscious of this so it is very important for that you read the following.

Upon delivery, please carry out the following steps

• Remove the goods completely from their packaging
• Closely inspect the goods for damages or shortfalls
• Sign for the goods, accordingly, noting damages/shortfalls and refuse the goods
• Notify Riverhill Garden Supplies of any damages/shortfalls within 24 hours by telephoning the office on t 01732 522471. The office is open 7 days a week, from 8am to 10pm including Bank Holidays except Christmas Day. Providing that you have signed for the goods as damaged and refused the goods we will repeat and dispatch your order again or arrange a full refund

The courier is obliged to wait 15 minutes for you to carry out these checks if need be. No claim will be accepted if a clean signature is given. Any claim for damages/shortfall must be made within 24 hours.
